Our Services
At The Apostille & Notary Experts, we take the confusion, stress, and guesswork out of getting your documents apostilled.
We are located just 8 minutes from the California Secretary of State’s office. We are not a courier service; we’re document legalization specialists.
Here’s how we help:
1. We Make Sure Your Documents Are Correct Before Submitting Them
Before we submit anything, we thoroughly review your documents to make sure they’re properly prepared for apostille processing.
Many people assume their documents are ready just because they’re signed, notarized, or came from a government agency, but that’s not always the case.
Requirements vary depending on document type and destination country, and even small errors can result in rejection. We’ll let you know if anything needs correction and help guide you through the fix, saving you time, money, and frustration.
2. We Walk Your Documents In for Processing
Once your documents are ready, we personally walk them in ourselves in a protective, waterproof envelope to the correct office. No dropping them in the mail or handing them off to a courier. For California-issued documents, we walk them directly into the Secretary of State’s office and wait while they’re processed.
If your documents originated from another U.S. state, we’ll hand-deliver them to the proper designated competent authority in that state, the official office responsible for issuing apostilles, to ensure they’re processed correctly.
Once processing is complete, we’ll send you a photo of the completed apostille so you can share it with your contact abroad to keep things moving while your documents are on the way. Each apostille comes with a unique record number that allows your contact to verify its authenticity online through the issuing government’s official website.
3. You’ll Know What’s Happening Every Step of the Way
We keep you updated throughout the entire process. You won’t have to chase us down or wonder what’s happening. You’ll always know what stage your documents are in and when they’ll be delivered.
We treat every client and their document(s) with care and respect, and we’re here to make this process as easy and clear as possible for you.

Document Legalization Services
Apostilles (Hague)
An apostille is an official government certificate that verifies the authenticity of a document so it can be legally recognized in countries that are members of the Hague Convention of 1961.
Whether you're handling international adoptions, dual citizenship, foreign employment, or studying abroad, we simplify the process by managing all the details for you. We ensure your documents meet the strict requirements for apostille, hand-deliver them to the appropriate state or federal authority, and provide tracking updates along the way. No long lines. No guesswork. Just peace of mind.
Authentications (Non-Hague)
For countries that are not part of the Hague Apostille Convention, your documents must go through a multi-step authentication and legalization process.
This typically involves certification from the Secretary of State, the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C., and the embassy or consulate of the destination country.
We manage each stage for you, carefully reviewing your documents, coordinating with the proper authorities, and ensuring they meet all international requirements. Whether you're preparing for international work, study, marriage, or business, we guide you through the process with clear communication and reliable handling every step of the way.
Embassy/Consulate Legalization
Some documents require final approval from a foreign embassy or consulate before they can be accepted abroad, especially for countries that are not part of the Hague Apostille Convention.
Our Embassy Services take the stress out of this multi-step process. We prepare your documents according to each country’s unique requirements, submit them to the appropriate U.S. and foreign authorities, and handle all coordination with the embassy or consulate on your behalf. Whether you're legalizing documents for work, marriage, residency, or business, we ensure everything is completed accurately and efficiently so your paperwork won’t be delayed or rejected.
